Company Svoboda - production of home-made dumplings based in Blučina, Cézavy 700 is a limited company registered in the Commercial Register in Brno. Its subject of enterprise is production of half-finished food products. Its business activities practically started in various fields as natural person's business activities in 1990. In 1993, after consideration of all circumstances and after a market research, the company decided to focus solely on production of home-made dumplings in various modifications.
The company strategy and main aim was to develop business contacts with expanding business chains in the Czech Republic. Its goal has been partly accomplished and nowadays we supply entire business chains, e.g. AHOLD Czech Republic a.s., PLUS - Discount s.r.o., SPAR Česká obchodní společnost s.r.o. (SPAR Czech business company, s.r.o.), TESCO Stores CZ a.s., Makro Cash & Carry Czech Republic, with our products. We also supply a number of restaurants, hotels, apartment hotels, eating-places, hospitals and retails in the whole Czech Republic. Last year, we began to export into the Slovak Republic - PRIMA ZDROJ holding, a.s., METRO Cash & Carry Slovakia s.r.o.
Products of a high quality, reasonable prices and in specified packaging are a certainty. Therefore, it was necessary to make alternations to production premises and instruments. In 2002, the company invested 38 mil. CZK in development of a new factory building, which conforms to demanding hygiene regulations and the Food Act No. 110/97.
In the same year we obtained the HACCP Certificate (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points), ISO 9001 a ISO 14001, which guarantee meeting of sanitary, hygiene and food product quality regulations. In 2004, we were awarded the KlasA award for fulfillment of above standard criteria by the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic. The production premises enable an increase in the production capacity by 200%, with a significant increase in labor productivity.
The successive distribution of products in the entire Czech and Slovak Republic, in conformity with the regulations and laws in force, is also very well managed. The distribution is provided by 46 delivery vans. After full use of our own transportation, it was necessary to use external freight forwarders. All vehicles are equipped with an automatic cooling system in the cargo hold.
Since 2003, the company's turnover has been constantly higher than 100 mil. CZK and the company has 85 employees.
The current production is particularly aimed at packaged products in fresh cooled state with durability of max. 10 days. The production could be further divided into yeast, potato, fruit and special products. Even though this range of goods has been sufficient for domestic consumers to widen the production by frozen food with durability 1 year or longer, is a strategic necessity for the company's development. For this purpose, a line for production of frozen products was purchased in 2004. Currently, it is possible to purchase these goods in Albert and Hypernova stores.
Moravian dumplings are our main product which was awarded a KlasA mark in 2004 and was again awarded „The Taste of South Moravia Award" in 2006.
