On 20 September 2007 the company SVOBODA – výroba domácích knedlíků s.r.o. was inspected for observance of Act 242/2000 Coll. and Council Directive (EEC) 209/91. Based on the inspection result, it was acknowledged that the company is entitled to mark the products that are subject to the inspection process with a reference to ecological agriculture. SVOBODA – výroba domácích knedlíků s.r.o. was certified for "Production of Bio-food Products" by the international company ABCERT, which is authorized to execute inspection activities in the Czech Republic by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic.

Ecological agriculture is based on the fact that our health depends directly on the quality of the food we eat. We get good quality food from healthy plants. Healthy plants only grow in healthy soil.
The main features of ecological agriculture are:
- A strict ban on the use of artificial fertilizers and pesticides
- Eco-farmers depend on healthy, fertile soil and mixed plant cultures
- Animals are bred without routine administration of medicines and antibiotics, unlike intense conventional breeding
"Bio" is protected by law
The usage of the term "ecological agriculture" and the designation "Bio-Product of Ecological Agriculture" are defined according to the Act on Ecological Agriculture. Growing and processing of bio-food are governed by strict rules. The green logo "Bio-Product of Ecological Agriculture" guarantees that bio-food or its base materials are genuine and come from a tested eco-farm.
